Largo, Florida U.S.A., July 1, 2008---Precision Resistor Company (PRC) has now expanded the capabilities of our vastly successful PVS series to include the new PVS5 rated to handle nearly twice the amount of power than the previous best part, the PVS3. A long time client & major over seas electronic manufacturer came to us with the desire to improve on the PVS3 so it could handle more power while being able to dissipate the ambient heat associated with re-flow ovens. These ovens are commonly used by major manufacturers to attach electrical components to circuit boards.
